Senegal Mix Tape

salaam alaikum! we meant to get this new tape out for Magal but its a day late. Nevertheless, its a crucial mix! Sufi Herbs meets Filiation Sounds: Senegal

SufiHerbs.Com and Filiation Sounds team up again, to share the sounds of our common path as researchers for God. As seekers we have searched the world for the Truth in a dark world. The light of Lamp Fall drew us like a moth to flame to the truth of Serigne Touba. We always say that we were looking for the true Islam, and if it were in Japan we would be researching there, if it were in Switzerland we would be studying Swiss things. But after a 20-year search for the real Islam we thank Serigne Touba and Mame Cheikh Ibra Fall for demonstrating the way from Touba, Senegal. Here are some of our favorite songs of praise we have heard in various ways in our meetings with our Mouride friends. From Youssou N’dour to Mouhamed Niang to Jim Daddy, Patera Style and Ghetto Eden and Cheikh Lo to Carlou D to Sokhna Khady, this is an eclectic mix spreading the message and light of Serigne Touba and Mame Cheikh Ibra Fall. From Senegalese reggae and hip hop to classic mbalax, we got it covered! We are hoping people will donate to listen to this for projects in Thies, Senegal under the direction of Serigne Mbacke Fall Moustapha. Djerejef Serigne Touba! Barkei Cheikh Ibra Fall!
